Joan, the most recent rumor that i heard of was buying by the CB of China to align its gold reserves with international norms. if true, that would remove a few hundred tons from the supply side of the equation. perhaps the rumor became more intense? or maybe it's something else...but something is definitely going on. we'll see if this rally makes it through London and COMEX trading tomorrow.
