NMMA lobbies AGAINST CAFE?:

Protecting their tow vehicles. Immoral position. It's costing me a pretty penny to fuel even my 2.2l Honda, but it's worth it to watch the eyes pop out of the guy across from me as he stares at the pump filling his SUV! The attitude in America that oil grows on trees has to end:

Manufacturers KNOW they have to improve the economy of these guzzlers or customers will eventually leave:

This isn't a great solution:

Remember, alcohol has a lot less energy than gasoline. So even if they adjust the fuel price accordingly, that only addresses mpg, not miles per tank nor performance. You're stuck with a vehicle that has short range and low power if you fill up with E85.

They won't advertise this fact:

Who would have guessed trash trucks would get specifically regulated? Ya gotta visit CA at least once. More goofy stuff going on there than you can shake a stick at.

John: I only post links and occasionally address technical issues. I no longer post investment commentary. No one should care what I think, and I don't care what they think, because we don't know anything about each other. Life is too short to engage in debates with strangers. I remain mystified why anyone would devote endless hours to criticizing one of their own investments, but there's at least a couple characters that have made a career of it when it comes to OE. Either you're short (and a shyster) or you're willing to waste your life away. DNFTEC.
