Elmer, but why not just drop this because it ain't gonna happen... If Intel was as married to Rambus as they say they are, I think the on die Northbridge would help Rambus beat DDR, IMO. As an AMD shareholder, I would be all for Intel betting the company on this little exercise. As you know, there were some presentations of AMD pursuing this strategy with Sledgehammer. I don't know how much performance you gain from on die Northbridge, but my guess is that it may be worth 1 or 2 speedgrades. Joe
