IMO, if one ascribes to the Theory of Evolution, then there is no such thing as a missing link.

A "missing link" is simply a step in the evolutionary process for which fossil evidence has not yet been found. Given the periods of time involved, and the enormous amount of exploration that goes into the discovery of fossil remains, it's amazing that more links aren't missing.
