Title : a little too PC centric around here.

65% of rambus revenues found!.... by: tstorey_98 6/13/00 12:58 pm Msg: 105905 of 105907 What are all these dinky little companies using wambus for?...I thought wambus sux?
Silrw thanks for getting out the other 65% of the revenue stream. TI, csco, nortel, lucent, all these guys are building the thing that we are all staring at now. Brocade has gone from 30 million to (proj) 250 million in 24 months. I think the most exciting part of it is, Brocade, like Vitesse, sells their Silkworm switch line to the biggest players there are. If you look at the Brocade announcement and the Vitesse announcement, there isn't anybody else. It is the who's who of the internet infrastructure. We can sit all day and yap about PC's and every minute that goes by more rdram products are sold in the fastest growing market there is COMMUNICATIONS.

Wake up and smell the downloads. There are more and more companies that are making stuff that makes Rambus go CA CHING! You can clock until ya drop. They don't care. The communications industry, will make this PC debate look like a cupcake.

By the way Brocade, Csco, Nortel, Vitesse aren't going to switch over to some other technology tomorrow. 54,000 new servers are hitting the net each month, alone. This is still the top of the first inning, guys. Tom Pabst and all of the other political people don't know jack about routers, switches and TV sets....are you shi**ing me? You are worried about rambus? Sony is putting rdram into digital tv sets.....Now, walk around your house and count the TV's...then count the computers then imagine that 8% of the planet is hooked up to the net and what kind of growth the communications companies have for the next ten years. I don't want to insult anybody here but this company can boot the PC market and we still have wacko revenue growth on deck.

In reference to booting the PC market remember the company you are invested in has guided 50% in 2002 and are setting up a support facility in Taiwan. One of these days everybody is going to wake up and smell the CA CHING. It is not a future CA CHING it is happening now. We are a little too PC centric around here.
