Geez Guys- 1xEV is a Q overlay of GSM systems. It ain't no WCDMA. Since the WCDMA camp 1) can't get
3G working in a reasonable amount of time (read "never"), and 2) the WCDMA solution (if they could get it to
work) tanks system capacity (i.e. 80% more base stations required and more spectrum), Q is offering the poor
unfortunate GSM carriers - a better and more cost effective solution to 3G that doubles GSMs capacity and can
give 'em HDR. Sounds to me that 1xEV is in direct compitition to WCDMA and has higher capcacity and
earlier deployment. Plus it's compatible with with existing cdma carriers.

GSM is Toast!
