Hi Steve - two things. Hydra vs Metaframe, my shop [can't disclose my employer since this is non shop talk :)] runs NT4 but chooses Metaframe as well. Second, CTXS is branching out to UNIX. To be fair, it is a long shot.

That said, being a bull on CTXS is definitely a contrarian view, since the following

individualinvestor.com

is more representative of majority sentiment, and, I ve to admit, rightly so

best, Bosco

Steve, Terminal service is included with W2k, Microsoft licensed it from Citrix. Think of W2k TS as Metaframe Lite. Metaframe can run on any WIntel devices + all ICA ready devices and virtually all mainstream OS (except PalmPilot). Citrix is on the right track, ICA enabled devices and thin-client is the way to go. Imagine any ICA enabled palm device or celluar phone can access your company database, or even using your palm device to access corporate ERP. The ease of software deployment and maintenance is a welcome for any IT department and a dream for ASP. I expect margin will be down but profit will resume growth by Q4. I will be surprised to see CTXS trading below 100 by the end of 2001.
