Do you think if all of Gate's email messages disappeared during the govmt's discovery phase, like Al Gore's did, all his $billions would cover the fines? When do you think he'd get out of jail? Think Dan Rather would see fit to run a piece on the news during his little program? Maybe Gore should have handled Gate's email messages, Gates would be in a lot less trouble.

Just think: Gates' problems would never have occurred if he had only slipped a couple of million dollars to the Clinton/Gore re-election campaign in 1996. Think how much the legal costs are going to end up! If I were Gates now, I would ask each of my 35,000 employees to chip in $1000 to the Bush campaign. The extra $35 million might be enough to put Bush over the top. I'll bet this whole antitrust mess would be over with by February of 2001.
