more on Rice:

He uses (or used) a Bahamas company called Primex Capital to do stuff with Rockport Healthcare (RPHL), as well as several other companies: LEEP (trades for $0.37), Pontenco (it no longer trades), and Pinnacle Business Management.

I found all this on tenkwizard.

To start with, his name & contact info appear in a 10k for OTC:BB LEEP, which is trading for $0.37. That filing connects him with Primex Capital:

Ditto a company called Potenco, which no longer trades:

He was involved with ILNK circa 1996 when it issued toxic convertibles.

Well, I found the Spring Football League's home page. Wonder if anyone has any idea of how Mark Rice funds it? There's a nice photograph of the mayor of San Antonio there too. I wonder if he... Nah...

springfootball.com

FYI, they canceled the rest of the season after just 2 games for each team. They said that this year was just a "test". The real season is next year. My guess is that they ran out of money. This past spring was real tough on stocks... <g>
