Here's a preliminary list of the Russell 2000/3000 index biotech adds. As you can see, practically every serious biotech known to man that wasn't already on it. (I count around 75 biotech additions. Note that I probably missed a few other biotechs or included some spurious ones)

My guess is that overall this should produce some nice support over the next month or so for the biotech third tier. Two years ago (in the biotech apathy era), you would have done well buying the biotech "adds" and shorting the "deletes." I suspect that with the higher volumes we now see in most biotechs the impact will be lower this year, but we might yet see some noticeable strength in the lower-volume issues.
