When at 13.30 Comp was down and out and IIX looked bad I issued this alongwith my reads on 'misunderstanding of the economic numbers' the macro understanding attached to what look like a break this present set of posts in last few days I will term as reading the market at its peak... the two at its worst hour where the trap was laid like a running commentry are treat.. enjoy the thread that stays awake all the time... quicken.excite.com <<Message #31838 from IQBAL LATIF at Jun 13, 2000 12:51 PM ET IIX on my charts show 200 days mA at 481, DOT at 936.. I think this is a trap I would assume that economic data is confusing a lot of people who does not have access to Idea of the day, the fact that we able to point out hte reasons before the event in a practical way increases my confidence that I am reading these 'googlies' right. In cricket these are kind of balls that are diffuclt to read for a batsman, we just ordinary people try to read them here and use all this data to make odds in our favor, right now I am more positive than ever that even if we close below that 480 IIx point the 25 days timer has started its upward climb, we are at jucture and if I am reading right may be I will be issuing that long awaited call soon,, it is all falling in place.. 1455 reamins now that key I have lsightly shifted my focus on SPM and expect that 1472 will be out first.. and IIX will follow suit, however 1455 on two closing basis is now my watch point for 1432 area test..>> <<we will see a sell off, as too weak a number would be interpreted as number imapcting corporate profits so in a environment where earnings pre-announcments are a regular feature that may impact some stocks we are looking at an ideal scenerio modestly strong economy that can be errorneously termed as strong with a short term selling impact and a buying in later part of the day and CPI helping it further>> And we get a close above IIX 480 although DOT is below 936 but from sa low of 1445 to see 1472 out is fun and lovely.. but to forecast it in advance like a music is greater fun..
