I may be naive, but I don't think the vast majority of analysts and brokers are trying to screw the retail investor. They would not be in business very long if they were. I think they are surprised by these types of announcements like everyone else, based upon the frustration and anger reported from the conference call yesterday. They are just trying to do a tough job. And there are good and bad ones like everywhere else. BTW, I am not a broker, nor need to defend them. I also bought shares Friday and was caught with my pants down.
