Elmer:

I tried to be nice. I tried to bend over backwards. You keep changing your complaints but keep the same tone. You conveniently forgot that the ones listed, by his comments on the page, that these were generated from code compiled with NO SPECIAL OPTIMIZATIONS for any system. He did not know how to present those scores with the hyperoptimal compiler for a given platform. When he compiled for Athlon, the times went down for the one test case he did, an Athlon (probably K75) 850. He COULD NOT get the Intel VFC compiler to work on his code and Intel could not either. As for the SPEC codes using gcc see webuser.main-rheiner.de. Intel's compiler is not available under Linux and they probably used gcc. There are many others. That you could not (or would not) find them is your problem.

I have noticed, you still have not found a commercial application compiled by the "Hyperoptimizing" VFC 4.5 compiler asked of you by Joe. Now who just "has a big mouth"? You seem to fit the bill lately.
