Well, my theory, which I just this minute thought of, is that there are lots of little wheels turning, and we are each in the center of our own little wheel but are all connected, like gears, and THAT makes the giant wheel turn.
Of course bearings wear out, or wheels for some reason don't mesh, and you get--- SI.
