If those that own gold miners are crazy we are in rich company: Grollo takes shine to gold By BARRY FitzGERALD Wednesday 14 June 2000 The Grollo construction family has increased its backing of Melbourne-based gold producer Perseverance Corporation. It emerged yesterday that the Grollo family company Melbourne Square was a major backer of Perseverance's recent 10 cents-a-share placement. Melbourne Square took three million of the shares, enough to lift its share of Perseverance's expanded capital base from about 10.9 per cent to 14.9 per cent. The placement has given the Grollo family a chance to "average down" on its initial investment in Perseverance. This investment was acquired at much higher prices. Melbourne Square is now the second-biggest shareholder in Perserverance behind British-based Waverley group. (cont) theage.com.au

say "hello" to 62.50..As I told you Bob, there is a line in the sand at that technical point...Today proved the line in the sand was at that level...The Morgans,the Deutsche,the New York Fed crowd do not like the idea of a POG headed for 300.00...The forces of darkness will use every piece of short paper they can lay their hands on to keep POG under 300....Too bad we couldn't get a country like China and India to do some serious buying that would force them to cover some of that paper.. I still believe this is going to blow up in their faces one of these days...The question is, will it be another 20 years? All my trailing stops were hit today....I am out of everything profitably, but feel like they chopped my head off again....But I am the Jumping Bean as fondly referred to by Silicon's well-loved, Mazzarelli man!!! Sometimes it takes 3 times to take out a resistance area..I believe this was strike 2...... Regards, Mark
