How can he stay the relief based on an appeal that doesn't yet exist?

Suppose Microsoft filed a motion for reconsideration instead of an appeal. Then what sense would it make to have stayed?

<< Jackson is making moves that make sense only as tactics to be used by a plaintiff, not standard procedure for an impartial judge working within the system. In fact, they were scripted by the DOJ. >>

Absolutely correct and this has been apparent for quite some time now. The 'findings of fact' made this glaringly obvious. The 'findings of fact' were basically written by the hand of the DOJ. It's that obvious.

Jackson will fall. He will be removed from any further trials on this matter at his level. The appeals court will remove him from further involvement due to bias and going beyond his authorized boundaries.

Of this I'm quite certain, but this is only my opinion.
