We may have an explosive rally tomorrow.

Very happy with FLC and XTO. I have been lightening up on XTO the past week as it is reaching fair value IMHO. Taxes are going to be a big problem this year. Using the proceeds to buy tech and drillers.

Also ecstatic about the recovery in services like BHI, BJS, and WFT the last week and a half. I bought a bunch on the dip about 10 days ago, and they kept going down. Glad I held to sell today.

I sure am glad I can come up with my own ideas and research! (Sorry, couldn't help taking a cheap shot there about everyone using Slider's ideas - which ARE often good. :o) )

How high will the bird fly? What do you TA experts say as I have some July Calls? I hate to sound greedy as I have used overall thread sentiment as a contrary indicator in the past with some degree of success.

However, presumably many of the drillers and EnPs have acquired assets on the cheap, merged and taken costs out of the system, and become more efficient. These companies benefit from technology, too. Pulling up three and five year charts, I don't see why many of the board's favorites shouldn't surpass their all-time highs at some point this cycle. Sure, it won't be straight up, but many are in better position than they have ever been....period. Why shouldn't FLC eventually fly way past $40, especially with CDG assets. Sheeesh, I do sound greedy. I'm inclined to trade in and out of qualified accounts, but shares in taxable accounts I'll be holding...I hope.

Just my two cents....Oink Oink

Wink, JQP.....

FLC finally broke through and stayed above resistance at 25 on the close. Very nice late surge. My other drillers only did so-so.....PKD, ESV, DO.

Techs also finished strong today on hopes of a rally tomorrow on tame numbers/inflation indicator.

Good luck,

Jane
