Lemme take a crack at that.

I think she got screwed, and she should be screaming at the top of her lungs. She made a specific request of a broker. It is the brokers responsibilty to get it right. Blaming Sears is pure BS. They should be forced to buy those shares from her at the $39, and I wouldn't stop chewing until I was gnawing on bone.

My case number was CC#98645/MRD#199809256

Have her call the broker first and have her tell them that she is going to the NASD. If they do not budge then go on. Took me one year but they had to settle out of court and I got more $$$ than was at question.
