SUNW is peculiar in its price movement. It is a steady gainer though over the years. It may make occasional dramatic moves, but generally it does not. It really hasn't moved today since there is no real news fundamental to the co. I think they all will move nicely to the upside if inflation comes in weaker than expected tomorrow with the CPI report!

Judging solely by my own portfolio, yesterday the rest were down while Sun was up, so my guess is it's just random variation.

JMHO.

JDN, why you think that the crap coming out from SUNW management is any better??

SUNW or MSFT statements are equally DISCUSTING as they have one purpose to sell more company stock.

No response needed

thank you.

Haim

May be this will give Sun a little kick tomorrow. Storage is a great area to be pushing hard to gain market share.

The Sun storage products will cost about a third to a half less than comparably sized systems from
EMC, Loiacono said.

In particular, Webster noted that the new storage systems support a variety of operating systems. Sun said the servers will recognize systems running Windows NT, HP's HP-UX and IBM's AIX operating systems, as well as Sun's Solaris. Scheerder said Sun is working to add Linux support.

Cheers,
