Mike,

I wonder whether you might comment on some of the chicken producers. Companies such as Tyson Foods (TSN), Sanderson Farms (SAFM) and WLR Foods (WLRF) are trading near 52 week lows and in some cases, multi-year lows. Sanderson Farms and WLR Foods have either announced the intention to repurchase stock or have actually started to repurchase stock. There also has been inside buying at Sanderson and WLR Foods.

On another note, a Company called MTR Gaming Group (MNTG), which is involved in casinos and horse racing, has also been repurchasing stock. Given your interest in horse racing, I think that you might want to take a look.

I do not own any of these stocks at the present time.

Thanks.

Jim

You are right. Buying QCOM would be comparable to making love to someone HIV positive. If you were lucky there could be ecstasy. But it wouldn't do for a protracted relationship.

Overpriced or not -
I do not see the market making a significant move down. The last retail numbers certainly have raised the bar for Greenspan to further increase the interest rate. Especially in an election year...
