Surely RE is not the whole problem just a piece of the puzzle. I was just addressing the feeling around here that AG was just picking on Scumbrias tech stock retirement plan. <G>

Are you saying that AG is after Scumbria's profits in his overpriced cardboard box of a house? <g>

Jim,

Don't forget the wealth effect, it's very real. In the 8 months I've been at my job at least 5 co-workers have sold stock and paid cash for new cars. Maybe this is normal, I haven't been in the workforce that long. All of them were "treating" themselves by selling a few hundred shares of some stocks that had gone up 500% over a few short years.
