He is now saying the same thing that Meyer said alone in the April meeting -- that the US economy can stand more growth than it could in previous decades without inflation. We have now had at least 2 months of declining numbers in every leading economic indicator. The euro is down to the point where ECM thought they had to keep up with AG, and so they raised rates to try to maintain currency levels. I sure hope he figures it out soon. tgptndr, That's what I got out of his speech as well this AM. I think we have seen our last rate hike. ted
