Elsacom was supposed to start service in June in Albania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldova, Belarus and Ukraine.

John, yes, 800 million people if you include all of Europe and the new Independent States, which includes Russia. But I meant the bulk of Europe excluding the old USSR realm. Anyway, Elsacom is BIG! Say we multiply 2000 x 3 to cover the whole damn European continent including Independent States, we get 6,000 handsets. Ouch! Thanks for that population link.
