the banks were big buyers of stocks when the NAZ threatened to break to new lows...they always enter the scene when the market looks wobbly.
i don't believe their 'rigorous standards' refrain. after 10 years of economic expansion and 18 years of bull market, standards go down the drain. that's always the case, especially late into an expansion...as the most recent experience gets extrapolated by everybody ad infinitum.
