Of course volatile is a relative term, you should have seen my mother in law in action. A side note from the front line: "One of our day traders had worked 50K almost to a million last year, now its back down to 50K or less.. that's typical of the damage this bear market has had on speculative people who trade with us.. many have seen worse, the margin calls were being made before the close of day if it "appeared" there would be a need for funding! " The point being made was that the most exhuberent players need considerable time and capital to re-group their affect on the market.. there's been considerable capital errosion.
