I first bought AMD back in Aug.,'97 at 37 3/8, and "doubled down" a few times in the mid-teens. The last time I bought, in Feb. of this year, the 39 1/2 I paid actually raised my average share price.

Sometimes it actually pays to hang in there and keep buying. :)
