Goutama what is funny about that is AMD is almost where INTC price was 5 months ago.

While I'm not going to rag on Elmer's other comments because he has already realized he was wrong and that things are going well for AMD, I am surprised with the quoted comment - Cumines really haven't flooded the market yet. Athlons still cost much less than same equivalent MHz Cumine and are clearly more available. While Cumine supply HAS gotten better, even at Intel's higher end, it STILL hasn't gotten to the point where Intel has such high binsplits that they can price < 1GHz processors very competitively, like AMD has done.

The next shrink will help Cumine some more, but by then AMD should be pumping out faster than 1GHz processors and pricing will reflect this. Good thing for Intel demand is good.
