Gee Bilow... Is this the scrape the bottom of the barrel night? Did you feel you had to make an appearance? Relying on VIA's comments is not your style. I'm disappointed, but then I know that doesn't concern you. Here we have Rambus up 100 points in the last 20 days, during the same time period that you, Ali, Pluto and the others have been throwing your sticks and stones at Rambus in a massive attack using all your artillery. I won't even ask you for an explanation how you could be so wrong? How can a stock continue to rise under such adverse conditions that you present? There are many here that have bubbles in their "think tank" regarding Rambus but you, Ali, and Pluto have your own agenda. Today was a real kick in the cojones for you, but hey... tomorrow is another day. It's amazing... when Rambus is up you become scarce... when Rambus is down you are all over the place like sh*t in a out house. Please keep your written posts coming, not VIA's. The more you write the more I buy. When you don't write something negative about Rambus I become uncomfortable. As long as you are writing negative comments then I know things are going good for Rambus. Thank you for, "...hilarious graphic image of cash falling into a hat marked Intel/Rambus, while an unhappy end user looks on. The slide discusses the costs of RDRAM..." You personally could have done a much better job on a better night had it not been for the +29.75$.

Posting Via slides from April 1999, Bilow?? If I didn't know you better, I'd swear you're starting to sweat.

Carl,

Hi Dave B; Re VIA's RDRAM plans... If there were any, would be difficult to spin. But highly unlikely. From the VIA website, it is quite clear that they don't like Rambus at all:

via.com.tw;

That presentation appears to be from April 1999. Ancient history and a lot of things have changed since then. I certainly wouldn't try to use a 14-month old presentation to prove that Via isn't working on an RDRAM chipset.

Also, as we've discussed, you won't hear anything about a VIA chipset until they're ready to ship it. Why help legitimize RDRAM until you're positioned to take advantage of the market?

Dave
