OT Dorian Gray is the portrait of all the talking heads who remain persistenly young, full of vim, vigor and sex appeal. Meanwhile, all that is evil (including the process of old age) takes place on the portrait. The truth behind the face of the market in all of its aspects remains covered behind a cloth until the horrid details are suddenly revealed. Dorian, as I recall, dies....or slashes the portrait.... and takes on his real face. The portrait becomes young and innocent again. Value is restored to its correct time and space continuum...and in this case, to some very very mean average. It's a forerunner to an episode of early star trek written by Oscar Wild, all of whose leanings were rather suspect <g> ....Pandora next? J
