That's the new scam and as you know by now this administration is far from bashful about applying disinformation for their own gain.

I also recall Greenspan being quoted as saying "the appearance of inflation is more damaging than actual inflation".

Hopefully what Honest Abe Lincoln said still applies:
You can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.

Oh well, it all just makes for an investment opp for those with patience...

It is a "joke" Bob, a sad joke I'm afraid..... With so many government wages tied to the "official" inflation rate, it's no wonder that they will try every trick in the book to keep it down so they can save lots of money. But as a consequence, much of their credibility is also going down the tubes. Yogi
