It's instructive to the extent that ULBI hasn't a contract with an OEM as does Valence. Perhaps Valence licensees will pursue the retail market in time.

This is your quote MGV <<ULBI wins Nokia contract for Rechargeable lith poly batteries>>.

In fact the release says NOTHING that indicates that Nokia let any contract or that ULBI won any contract. You are free to express your opinion but NOT to change the facts or deliberately spread mis-information.

If you read it again all that they are doing is providing retailers with a REPLACEMENT for the Nokia issued battery - there is no suggestion that Nokia has approved the battery or that there was ANY contract with Nokia.

It is bullish for Li Poly in general if they can get some acceptance from the replacement market. I personally have had to replace dead Nokia batteries several times after a very short working life..
