It's odd what gets covered and what doesn't, at what time. Bare chested woman in the French Empire at some time (and the evolution of that dress type, the name of which escapes me.) I wonder if women at the ankly turn of the century felt their ankles were an erotic zone? As an effect of trying to keep eyes off them? Arab women covering their face......makes sense to me if they're trying to vigorously rule out naughty thoughts....heck.... What about their hands? On and on..... Japan is in a revival of "imaginary" erotic art. Zowie, they've gone nuts over there. I like some of it; which like is probably related to my Early American Licentious Exposures. I think the Fifties were neat.
