Hi!!

RE: So far, neither company has admitted any problems. Tuesday, at Bear Stearn's annual technology conference, Dell Vice Chairman James Vanderslice said the company was progressing in line with expectations: "Demand is strong. We are at the high end and we're not seeing any weakness at all."

DELL's conquering the world....Market share is being stolen as I write this...Their model is virtually unstoppable...The IBM Global deal is a killer to the others...IBM service and DELL special services will rapidly destroy the others...These are not just my opinions...At Chelsea Pier last June I was told my CIO's and corporate heads that pull the strings on millions for tech that if DELL had the service globally there is not choice but to BUY FROM DELL.....
Surely listening and learning from many on this thread has been my greatest source of information...But, it was a very profound situation last year when I personally heard it from the others...It wasn't hype...Now that DELL has the capacity to produce and the new hardware ....Coupled with the IBM deal the market share is tipping more and more to DELL's side of the court...Michael has told us this for a long time...Kevin Rollins warned everyone not to sell DELL that "they would be sorry"....IMO the recent announcements and comments from DELL are just another harbinger of the coming quarters and future for DELL...The numbers will follow...I believe in this management team and their integrity...

Best, Kemble

BBG: It is funny how people live in last hour, when things are different in the current minute. There is a big move going on towards W2K, particularly on laptops. In next 3 quarters, you will see people moving from W97/98 to W2K.
That means 128Meg memory m/cs.

I think Dell will have no problem beating the .22/.23 wisper.
