Thanks Michael for touching bases. Good to hear. When I bought the 533a(8x) the 566 (8.5x) was selling about 30/35$ premium. Now they are within $3. 566 (8.5x) multiplier is better buy. So few have failed to met the 8x & 8.5x multiplier, pretty safe to buy oem I think.

Happy with 824MHz, but like the Mountain Climber, it's there, go climb it!!!1 I see 896 @112 FSB and 992 @124 FSB, I think----- Go climb it, But How!!!!<G>

You sure have a couple very nice machines. The linux may come in handy before MicroSoft settlement. I hear DOJ gonna' break them in two, one named Micro, other half named Soft <g>

Have a goodun' /jw

ps; some of the Lads with Golden Orb Fan/Heatsinks are stacking a 2 inch or 50mm high speed fan on top with a couple long sheet metal screws into fins on ORB, as long as not to interfer with dimm slot. The Orb spins at 4600 rpms (very quiet) blowing down onto heatsink. With a high speed fan on top the ORB speeds up to over 5000 rpms, moving a lot of air. Could mount a larger fan, mounting it with a couple turkey ties (plastic). Also stacking a fan on top of the PS fan, sucking out, keeping things pretty cool inside.
