Jerry -- Except for a few who've not learned to wipe their feet before coming indoors, this is one of the best threads on SI, at least of those I follow. Debates are generally civil and off-topic forays mild enough not to cause complaints. I wish there were a way to discuss on a theoretical level how the competitive landscape would look should the GLW rumor be true. Since I've never followed Corning other than at arms' length, I'm certainly not qualified to analyze its strengths and weaknesses. Perhaps we could lure some brains over from the GLW thread. Any volunteers???? :) Pat
