Hi ALTERN8,

Yes, AA is trading at a good volume today. The price is certainly cheap for a DOW stock. Hopefully it can make a run.

Evidently AA made a worst stock list. It supposedly was fifth on the list. My wife caught the end of it early this A.M. (6:00-6:30 EST) on CNBC. She said that Merck and GE were on the same list, too. I searched the CNBC homepage and couldn't find the list. I would like to know more about it. Whose list for example? What were the criteria? GE is seen as a strong stock, too. Maybe they were looking at 2000 performance versus future potential.

Later,
Ed

Hi ALTERN8,

I feel AA is in a good position now. Due to Kaiser's announcement of shutting down two smelters this past week, ingot prices have fluctuated. This cut in ingot supply should help to raise ingot prices and have a positive effect on AA's stock price.

I purchased more AA shares just prior to split, so I am hoping for a little run.

Good luck. Do you have an exit point?

Ed
