I have a small private software products company. There is no question about it taking a LOT longer to do large corporate deals as opposed to smaller departmental deals. Their VARs can do the smaller deals, but they probably have to involve direct Citrix sales staff in the bid deals.

It is encouraging that they think that they can cut some corporate-wide licenses because that means they existing projects in the companies are being well accepted. I am not all that concerned about the problems shifting over to direct sales. It will get sorted out in a couple of quarters.

However, I am really unhappy about the leaks that resulted in the huge sales by those with insider information on Thursday and Friday. The SEC should put some people behind bars, but I will be surprised if they have to pay fines greater than 1% of their profits, if anything at all.
