Mine is just a split off a cable modem through a router.

I pay ATHM an extra 7 or 8 dollars a month for each extra IP. All in all, it seemed like an easy set-up at the time. Just added Ethernet cards, Ethernet, and the router. Took about a half hour when you throw in the programming.

I guess I get hit the extra $8 apiece for the two additional IPs, but it's a done deal at this point. Perhaps if I decide to put more machines online I may do it. Right now we do use an additional two ISPs; one for my wife and an Earthlink set-up for travel. So it's a thought. Perhaps once the kid comes back.

Of course, if I tell him that now he won't come back. There's a thought....I could use the extra room.
