There weren't any DDR Athlon motherboards on display other than the reference board from ALi that wasn't even functional. But DDR motherboards weren't the only thing that wasn't seen on the show floor, motherboards based on Intel's 820 and 820E chipsets could hardly be seen.

Of course, there's a lot of people working on DDR chipsets and mobos, even if they aren't available yet. On the other hand, I'm sure Intel is working on Rambus as best it can, but somehow, it doesn't seem like people are much interested anymore.

Just think, with the MTH recall, there could be 1.25 million bs-ram pc's out there instead of .25 million, some day soon. Or maybe not, it could be that people will just stick with the flakey MTH/sdram boards rather than go through the hassle and risk getting stuck in a pothole along the Rambus Way(TM).

Cheers, Dan.
