I pick your post out randomly, not questioning your buy even if I do think the timing is wrong. So I'm sorry if you took it that way. By the way MM, I was addressing my post to E, not to you or anyone else, it had nothing to do with rubbing in it as you stated. My original post had more to do with the below thinking on my part, which seems the minority around here.

I do not think QCOM will ever be the company you all think it will be. Don't get me wrong there is money to be made in QCOM, just not the vast riches everyone was counting on. QCOM is not going to be an INTC/MSFT power in the cellular sector like you thought it was going to be last year, that is painfully obvious now to me. I see cell phones go the same route as PC. I made that comment 12 months ago, and goes with my statement that QCOM would become DELL like. Cell phones will follow the PC sector evolutionary path closely. I see a time where the processor or asic is not that important as cell phones become software controlled much like net computers where the over air interface and maybe even the op sys is down loaded, where the real money and power is at the server side and everyone else is just making me too products. I said the following too last year, I believe it more now then ever, I see a time where QCOM sells off the asic biz. and becomes a pure IP based company. Only time will tell if I'm right.
