That's what they do there ... hey at least they have schools and enough to eat, you can't say that for the whole planet ... i hear there used to be compulsory flag worship in US schools once upon a time, and in Canada kids were forced to sing God Save the Queen and O Canada ... i look about me now and fail to see how they were deeply harmed by the experience .... well, ok, not all anyway -g- As for being 'raised atheist' - i too was, by some strongly religious people ... i know exactly what E means ... but i overcame the initial reaction, and am now agnostic, and radically so only prior to the third beer of the day.
