"M$FT is on the ropes with their Windows-centric
world. They are going to have to go-along-to-
get-along with the internet-centric world"

Wait until NGWS is announced and released to developers this month.

[M$FT is on the ropes with their Windows-centric world. They are going to have to go-along-to-get-along with the internet-centric world according to McNealy. If they don't, they're history...]

...which, of course, is exactly why the DOJ's anti-trust action is entirely unjustified. Their "monopoly" is exposed to an enormous variety of free market competition. Maybe MSFT should call you as a witness.

'according to McNealy'

'according to McNealy'

'according to McNealy'

Read your own words and think about what you are saying. What kind of world do you live in? Are you a communist and McNealy is your supreme leader and thinker? Are you a cult member and McNealy is your idol and once again the sole source of your ideas and thoughts?

Where you obviously don't live is the real world. I deal with hundreds of different companies. I deal with my own company, vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, architects, engineers, property developers, etc. etc.

98% of them have massively improved their businesses by using PCs and the software genius that MSFT offers. I would sooner close my doors than do without MS Office / Outlook. I probably would have to shut my doors if we somehow were restricted from using MS software; we would be that inefficient. 10 years ago I myself would manage 1 or 2 projects totaling about $500k in value. Today I myself manage 4 - 5 multi million $ projects totaling more than $15 million. Why? Because of the PC and the efficiencies of communication, record keeping, scheduling, computations, presentations, transfer of information, etc.

Wake up, join the real world.

Dave

--Well, M$FT may well disappear, but it will not
be because of its desktop monopoly, but rather
because of SUNW's thin client strategy.---
