credit spread alarm:

the AA corporate spread went to a fresh high of 169 bps. today. likewise the TED spread reached 115 bps, a new high.

i guess the comments by PIMCO boss Bill Gross may have had something to do with that...he urged investors not to stray from the safest areas of fixed income.

but how can that be, when WS is telling us it's safe to play in risky stocks?

obviously, Gross, and the credit markets must have it WRONG! <vbg>

regards,

hb

Economy will cool without the interest rates increase.
The oil price is a cooling factor. When we add to this, the interest rates hikes...this play may be danger... the economy may just freeze.
Productivity can not increase forever...
My head is spinning, too fast rotation.I'm lost...cash is a gold now.
Or maybe GOLD is a gold now. Does it make sense???
