Life is very good right now :') I bought back into Mattson at 29 3/4, bigger than before + lots of options. Saw many references to IBD article, but did not read it. Don't like the publication too much. I'm looking a a run in Semicon, earnings about the same time. BTW, we're now just slowing in the biz I'm in. Very good early indicator, looking for no more Fed increases.

John,

I didn't realize that you had jumped out and then back in. The article was very positive about MTSN and pointed out that MTSN is trying to expand its core business to include the layering that is done for the Cu process. Its has much more room for growth than their current market. When Mtsn left NVLS, he agreed to not get involved with this layering process until 1994 and since then they have been playing catchup.

Pls excuse my lack of details of the process but I continue to be tech. challenged when it comes to semi equipment manu.
In any case I will be watching to see if they land any contracts in this area. If they are successful, the stock will truly skyrocket. As you probably know, most semi's are converting to Cu as we post.

John,

What do you think about all the speculation about MTSN being involved in a buy-out of CFMT?

If it were to come to pass, what do you think the short term ramifications would be on MTSN share price?
