Scoobypax, The Golden Lists is a list of stocks that meet certain criteria. It is not a portfolio held by Jim and/or SSP. I have been following postings here for several months. Some of the picks I like, some I don't. Go with the flow of the thread for a while, learn the style of the posters, but always the decision to buy/sell is personal. This is a great place to learn and pick up some good stocks. Sorry about WAMX, I owned and sold before it got to the TGL because of my own DD and a 'gut' feeling. Wish I'd had that 'gut' feeling on few others.:-( If there is one thing I have learnt since I started investing, there is no such thing as a sure 'get rich' stock. KC

LIST stock suggestions come from all sorts of people, not just SSP and I. If they qualify and have not already run up a bunch most suggestions go on the LIST or the SHELL list. Remember this very important line from both this thread introduction, and the GL website. "The best time to buy a LIST stock is not necessarily the time it first gets mentioned! Stocks can fall back, but as they approach their impact date - they usually make a run, so time your entry wisely! WAMX I admit was my suggestion for the LIST and I thought July 4 was a perfect example of an IMPACT date from both news releases and their website. I bought WAMX on news on May 3 while it was running up, I sold it on May 4 when I thought it had peaked. In hindsight I could have got a little more out of it had I waited until the 5th. But then with the exception of a few days it's been pretty much downhill from there, and I figured I made the right decision. As I said, I was waiting for what I thought was the right entry before another run up, but I was also asking around trying to get a better feel for it and most of that took place on the TRAC thread. Message 13554985 Message 13576115 Message 13709831 Message 13710429 Message 13710612 Message 13710727 Message 13710865 WAMX came off the LIST today due to the current controversy. As far a SSP and I owning everything on the LISTs I honestly do not know what all SSP holds. On the LISTs today, I have positions in: CRVV ASTV EKSIA JVWB CHIP and the shells REDI PCES KLYS. Can't own everything. Here I'll open my book for you. In addition to the above at this moment I have positions in: 10 CDNX (and two of those are halted pending RTO's, and two may never trade again) 5 TSE 3 NAZ 17 BB's way too many but luckily many are now "free" shares 8 Pinks....arggghhh, and 3 of those will probably never come back again. 30% cash which makes me very nervous...but the last couple of days I just had to get more CCAA STBY PCES But that could all change tomorrow, or the next day. Sorry, short question, long answer.
