Our only hope? Wow you guys are pessimistic. We're still in the best economy of our lifetime. Where does all this nervousness come from? The market's already sold off quite a bit. I'm not saying it won't be choppy and that oil stocks won't do fine but there's very little inflation out there and oil is the only cause of it. Besides oil this is a cheap country to live in now. And with interest rates frozen that's one less inflationary item on the list. I'd say soft landing here. But Clinton's got to do something diplomatically to knock the oil prices back down a bit. A lot of the price hike's just gouging and speculation.
Anyway PPI, retail, and CPI all benign. Interest rates stopped. Most stock prices cheap-reasonable. The glass is more than halfful in my book.
