I have been having trouble with SI all day, or I would have posted this sooner. It sounds like William Kidd (of C.E. Unterberg Towbin) read my last post before he spoke (although it says he released his remarks Wednesday, I didn't get them until this morning):

Bearish Opinion on DISH Goes Bullish

One of the more bearish Wall Street voices on
EchoStar has apparently become more of bull
concerning the satellite stock.

William Kidd of C.E. Unterberg Towbin created
waves last year when he downgraded the DISH stock,
a move he made while other analysts either kept
buy ratings on the shares or upgraded their view
on the company.

On Wednesday, Kidd upgraded EchoStar to a buy,
citing recent price weakness. "DISH shares have
finally fallen back to actionable levels," Kidd
said in a research note.

Kidd noted that DISH shares have declined 29
percent year-to-date, underperforming the NASDAQ,
which is down 7.4 percent for the same period.
DISH shares are also off 57 percent from their
late March high. He established a $46 year-end
share price target on the EchoStar shares.

In a separate research note, Kidd reiterated
a strong buy recommendation on Pegasus
Communications.
