I agree. I can't tell you how any of my tech stocks have made round trips and worse in this past quarter. Ipo-s that I sold in the 90s are in the 20s and 30s. My hat's off to buffett. a truly unique gentleman. but I cannot do what he does. Fortunately as the bulk of my money is in a roth conversion account I don't have to. One thing I have learned from CLarke which has made all the difference in the world is that once i have a 40% profit in an issue. I start to think long and hard about taking profits in it. More often than not I take the money and run. I also seldom enter an issue unless I think there a 40% profit to be had.
