The problem is: how do you define a "strong stock"? A "weak stock"?

Ideally, you want to be able to define your own filters, and also have dozens of pre-defined filters, with adequate documentation to explain just how they are derived and why the (supposedly) work, and what to expect in terms of followup action.

As far as I know, you cannot drag an index symbol onto the minder and have it explode into the indivudual stocks within an index. Index symbols do NOT work like the new dynamic lists. They are no different from individual stock symbols.

Jon's right, no explosions. I even called Townsend and asked. They do have some new symbol chains - hit F12, type "NASD" and hit enter. There's a Biotech list, banks, financials and a couple of others, no semi's yet though.

I have some sector lists that I created a while back. Anyone who wants them can PM me with your email.
