Thank you John. capitulation! The market did not capitulate today (in fact both major indices were up) but I did. Sold all my brcm (loss) cree (even) emc (big gain: I'll buy that one back at the next correction) and some '01Qcom options:Also sold 2/5 of my Qcom shares; also exchanged other '01 Qcom options for '03. Surely it will move by then . I now have only a margin debt of 8% and some cash in the IRA. Self-confidence has totally left me....I'll leave the market along (with my lowered amount of stocks) for a while and hope I can feel confident again sometime. I hope we all get another chance to make big profits...those of us who didn't take them when we could. Freeus
